This Blog’s goal is to help those who want to be more familiar with Minnesota State Parks (MSPs) by
- Giving the reader an idea of which of them are the best.
- Giving the reader an idea of what you should do when you get there.
And for those who don’t want to be more familiar with Minnesota State Parks
- Giving them reasons why they should.
Please send along any feedback as to how I can better accomplish these goals.

Our family has made more than a hundred state park visits in the last ten years.
I don’t claim to know everything about any state park. I certainly have not walked every trail and seen every scenic overlook. I also haven’t been to every MSP. I’ll only be talking about those that I have.
I am by no means an awesome photographer.
The benefit of State Parks is one reason that I’m not a libertarian.
